Although it may seem backward, in my work, I’m a reader first, researcher second, and writer third.

Every additional hour spent gathering information sharpens my focus on the purpose, context, and audience for my work.

But, like any skill, writing still takes practice. I’ve spent countless, rewarding hours refining how I apply technical writing principles to digital and science communication.

Writing may be subjective, but I have my process down to a science (which means I’m always testing and improving it).

Why Writing? 

I write to make the complex simple, accessible, and engaging, no matter what audience I’m trying to reach.

After working in clinical and medical research settings, I know the frustration that users, customers, and clients feel when they can’t find reliable answers to complicated questions.

Over the past several years, I’ve leveraged my scientific background to work with healthcare & tech brands. Now, I use my technical skill and communication insights to create highly readable content that drives conversation and engagement.
