Bioethics Argument: Vaccine Regulation
I wrote this bioethics essay to argue for stricter vaccine requirements for school entry. This argument paper is written according to academic standards within the field of philosophy.
The introduction, which focuses on clearly defining the parameters, terms, and context of this argument, serves to set up a clear and consistent argument for the rest of the paper.
This is especially important when presenting a philosophical argument, in which all relative or potentially confusing terms need to be clearly defined.
I did this to strengthen my argument and match the style of writing in this field, which would make it more likely that the intended audience would be swayed or encouraged to continue reading.
During the writing process, I received and incorporated feedback from instructors, TAs, and peers, which enabled me to practice flexible revision strategies to effectively communicate philosophical concepts based on genre conventions specific to the field.
